Well, I wasn't actually in the news, but someone I know was. Craig Franklin (AKA, the cheese-head man).
A group of us from the University got together to participate in the Polar Plunge, a fund-raiser for the Missouri Chapter of the Special Olympics.
Since we work with research animals, we dubbed ourselves the mice-cicles. Our boss (Craig Franklin), was the cheese.
It was cold crazy fun, though we were fortunate enough to have the weather warm up substantially in the week preceding the event.
