April 2009: East of Eden
Being now a resident of California, and having spent a little touring/camping/driving time in Monterey and the Salinas Valley, I've decided it's time for me to revisit John Steinbeck. So I've decided upon "East of Eden" for our April book. Yes, I know it's long. Sorry. Deal with it.

Cami chose East of Eden for her book club last year; maybe I can convince her to write my response for me. That is if she isn't in the hospital having a baby at the time (in which case I suppose I won't write a response either).
I'll admit I'm intimidated by the length, but the movie is one of my all-time favorites, so I'll do my best to soldier through.
